Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman met Light Microfinance customer Kavita Devi in Delhi during an event. Kavita runs a home-based jute bag manufacturing unit and sells it in her shop in Jhajjar district of Haryana. Kavita says, “It was a memorable moment and I never thought I would ever get any such chance. Thanks to Light Microfinance for trusting me to represent the company at such a big stage.”
