Debashis Mohanty is having over 17 years of experience with an academic degree of MBA in specialization Finance and Marketing from I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad.

Throughout his career, Debashis has demonstrated a strong commitment in risk-based internal audit, fraud control, monitoring credit activities, sales & business development across diverse asset classes i.e. Solidarity Group Loan, SME, MSME, Loan against Property, Unsecured Business loan, Machinery Term Loan and Institutional lending; targeting leadership assignments with an organization of highly reputed.

Prior to Joining Light, Debashis Held various Pivotal leadership Roles in Banks & financial institutions. As Zonal Head- Sales ( Secured Loan), Risk Monitoring Lead SME, Product Manager SME with Mahindra Finance, Managed Risk monitoring for Institutional Lending and Risk-based internal Audit – Microfinance With RBL Bank. WITH Fino Payments Bank held a position at state and regional level for Risk based internal audit and fraud investigation, with Religare handling team of Internal audit.

His proactive approach to conducting risk-based audits, and fraud control measures consistently ensured compliance and mitigated risks effectively. Also, he has been instrumental in spearheading fraud investigations and risk reviews across diverse business lines at Zonal and national level.

Beyond his core expertise in Risk, Audit and Fraud Control He has also had a diversified his career stint in Sales and Business development with a proven track record of creating portfolios of high quality and creating strong DSA networks.
